Samsung prepares to compete with Google, will bring 2 more foldable phones in July

The trend regarding foldable phones is increasing very fast. Samsung, Oppo, Motorola have already introduced their foldable phones in the market. Then meanwhile, Google has launched its first Google Pixel Fold, now news is coming that Samsung can again introduce its new foldable series. According to the latest report, the company can launch Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 on July 26, 2023.

It is also learned that Samsung is planning to host the Galaxy Unpacked event. It has been said in the report that the smartphone will be made officially available from August 11 after a public event on July 26.

It has been said in the report that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 can give a tough competition to the recently launched Google Pixel Fold.

Apart from this, a previous report by Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, said that Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 can be introduced with a large cover display.

The current Galaxy Z Flip 4 gets a 1.9-inch cover display. According to Ross, the upcoming device can be equipped with more than 3.0-inch screen size. Young also told that a different hinge design can be found in Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.

Both the devices are expected to come with a new ‘waterdrop’ hinge, which reduces the presence of creases and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip is already present in the Galaxy S23 devices.

Apart from Samsung’s foldable phones, the company’s tablet lineup is also on hold for an upgrade. It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra can be launched with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, while the regular Tab S9 can come with 12 GB RAM.
