Samsung has introduced a new series of monitors. Models of the M8 family are notable for their large screen size with minimal bezels, and are able to work without connecting to a PC, performing the tasks of a smart TV.
The novelty is presented in several modifications with a screen diagonal of 32 inches, a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16:9 and support for the HDR10+ standard. The display is mounted on a metal stand, painted in the color of the case. The top bezel houses the Slimfit webcam with face tracking and auto zoom.
In addition to the usual interaction with a PC via a USB Type-C cable, the monitor can also work offline. Thanks to the pre-installed Samsung TV Plus shell and the Wi-Fi module, access to online cinemas (Netflix, Disney +, Hulu, Apple TV and others) and Microsoft 365 services is provided. In addition, the user has the ability to connect wirelessly to a PC using Smart Hub and Samsung smartphones in DeX mode.
The Samsung M8 series monitors are already available for pre-order in white, pink, green, and blue for $699.
