Samsung is poised to unveil its next flagship lineup at the highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25 in San Francisco. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, along with the S26 and S26+, will be part of this new series, which will likely run on Android 16 and Samsung’s latest One UI.
The event is set for 11:30 PM IST, and Samsung is positioning the S26 Ultra as an AI powerhouse. Leaked details suggest a standout 200MP camera and the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, promising a leap in processing speed, efficiency, and AI functionality.
On the camera front, the S26 Ultra is expected to sport a quad-camera array, including a remarkable 200MP main sensor, paired with a 50MP ultra-wide, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 10MP secondary telephoto lens. Selfie enthusiasts can expect a 12MP front camera, ensuring crisp details for video calls.
Battery life is tipped to remain at 5,000mAh, delivering up to 31 hours on a full charge, with rapid charging expected to reach 75% in just 30 minutes.
AI integration will define the experience, as Samsung introduces AI-driven image editing—users can simply describe the edits they want, and the AI will apply them. Additionally, Bixby will receive a major update with One UI 8.5, enhancing its conversational skills and real-time web access.
Pricing is expected to mirror last year’s Galaxy S25 lineup. In India, the S26 Ultra could be priced between ₹1,35,000 and ₹1,70,000, especially for the top variant featuring 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Stay tuned as Samsung prepares to redefine the smartphone landscape.
