Samsung Galaxy C55 Unveiled: Leather Design, Stunning 50MP Selfie Camera, and Snapdragon Power

Samsung has launched the Galaxy C55 in China, featuring a leather back panel and a 50MP selfie camera.

The Galaxy C55 from Samsung’s C series lineup is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and boasts an AMOLED Plus display. The smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup, with the primary sensor being 50MP. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging.

The starting price for the Samsung Galaxy C55 is CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 23,000) for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs 26,000). It is available in black and orange color options, featuring a leather back panel.

Samsung Galaxy C55 Specifications

This dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone runs on Android 14 and features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB via a card.

The rear camera setup of the Galaxy C55 includes a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, there’s a 50MP front camera. The device features speakers with Dolby Atmos technology and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
