Samsung Galaxy Buddy 2 smartphone unveiled with 120Hz screen, Snapdragon 750G and 50MP camera

A new Samsung smartphone with the unusual name Samsung Galaxy Buddy 2 has been introduced. In fact, this is an updated version of the Galaxy M23 and Galaxy F23, which will be sold in South Korea. However, it also has key differences.

Galaxy Buddy 2 features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop notch. The screen has a resolution of FHD + (1080 x 2408 pixels) and supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The device comes preloaded with Android 12 OS and Samsung One UI user interface.

The Galaxy Buddy 2 has an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. On the back of the device are a 50-megapixel f/1.8 main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 750G single-chip system, it is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory. It has a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging support.

The power button, located on the right edge of the device, contains a fingerprint scanner. The phone offers other features such as 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C port, microSD card slot, and 3.5mm audio jack. Its dimensions are 165.5 x 77 x 8.4 mm and the weight is 198 grams.

The price is around $300.
