Samsung became the leader of the Russian tablet market

Samsung, according to the data of Russian retailers for November 2021, took 36.8% of the market in monetary terms. Samsung also posted sales growth of over 60% in unit terms.

In the segment from 10 to 20 thousand rubles the share of the company is 57.5%, and in the category from 20 to 40 thousand rubles the company share is 44.3%, as reported by the M.Video company. According to GfK, in 11 months of 2021, the share of sales of Samsung tablets in units reached 29%.

Over the past year, the company has released a number of interesting devices in this segment. In December 2020, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 Kids Edition, aimed at a children’s audience. In December this year, the company released the second version of the device.

In 2021, the premium Galaxy Tab S7 FE went on sale with a large 12.4-inch screen, S Pen and the ability to connect a keyboard cover. Samsung also launched the affordable Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in the summer of 2021.
