Tata Motors is one of the leading auto manufacturers in India. The sales of the company’s vehicles are continuously increasing. In November, the automaker registered total sales of 75,478 units in India and overseas.
This is 21% higher on YoY basis as compared to 62,192 units sold in the same month last year. It is noteworthy that the auto maker sold 73,467 units in the domestic market, which saw a growth of 27% in the company’s sales.
Tata Motors registered sales of 29,053 units in India, which is a 10% decline for the automaker as compared to 32,245 units sold in November 2022. However, passenger vehicles saw a 55% year-on-year sales growth with sales of 46,425 units as against 29,947 units.
Talking about the sale of electric vehicles, Tata Motors has seen a growth of 146% in this segment as compared to November 2021. It has seen a huge growth in the sales of its electric vehicles with the sale of 4,451 units.
The automaker reported a year-on-year sales growth of 33.3% by selling 45,220 units of passenger vehicles. The company sells Tata Nexon, Harrier, Safari, Punch and many other models in the Indian market.
Apart from this, after electric vehicles and petrol-diesel, now the company is also focusing on CNG vehicles. The company recently launched the Tata Tiago NRG CNG in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 7.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Earlier, the automaker had also launched the CNG version of the Tiago and Tigor in January.
Similarly, the company’s electric vehicle model lineup includes several models such as Tata Nexon, Tigor, Tiago, with Tata Nexon leading the company in terms of sales in the electric vehicle segment.
