According to representatives of the Avtostat agency with reference to the data of Passport Industrial Consulting JSC, in the 51st week of 2022, car sales increased in Russia.
In total, 16,872 units of new vehicles were sold in the penultimate week of this year, which is 13% more than it was in the 50th week. Moreover, sales increased in all segments.
Passenger car sales increased by 13% to 12,116 units, accounting for 72% of the total. Sales of light commercial vehicles (LCV) increased by 12% to 1,881 units.
Bus sales were 561 units, up 8% from week 50. Truck sales increased by 15% to 2,314 units.
