New Delhi. Chinese brand Redmi launched two new budget phones in India late last month. These include Redmi Note 12 4G and Redmi 12C. From today both the phones have become available for purchase in the country. Let us tell you that the company had introduced Redmi Note 12 4G with a new chipset and it is a budget smartphone. It is powered by the Snapdragon 685 SoC while the Redmi 12C is an entry-level phone with a Helio G85 chipset.
Customers can buy both the devices from Mi.com, e-commerce site Flipkart, Mi Home, Mi Studiom and other authorized offline retail stores. Let us tell you that the company is giving a discount of up to Rs 1000 to the customers paying with ICICI bank card.
Redmi Note 12 4G and Redmi 12C price
The price of 6GB + 64GB variant of Redmi Note 12 4G is Rs 14,999 and the price of 6GB + 128GB variant is Rs 16,999. Customers purchasing the phone with an ICICI bank card will get a discount of Rs 1,000, making its price Rs 13,999 and Rs 15,999 respectively.
At the same time, customers can buy the 4GB + 64GB variant of Redmi 12C for Rs 8,999 and the 6GB + 128GB variant for Rs 10,999. ICICI Bank cardholders can avail a discount of Rs 500, taking the effective price of the phone down to Rs 8,499 and Rs 10,499, respectively.
Specifications of Redmi Note 12 4G
Redmi Note 12 4G has a 6.67-inch display with FHD + resolution. It is a SuperAMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness. The phone has a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera system at the back. A 13MP selfie snapper has been given at the front.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 octa-core chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has 5GB of virtual RAM support and a microSD card slot for additional storage. The device houses a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It boots on out-of-the-box Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 on top.

The Redmi 12C, on the other hand, features a 6.71-inch HD+ LCD display with 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate. It has a 50MP dual camera setup at the rear and a 5MP camera at the front for selfies. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
This phone comes with 5GB virtual RAM and storage expandability option. The device has a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. It boots out of the box Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top.
