The Chinese manufacturer AyaNeo on his YouTube channel held a presentation of new products, where he spoke about the technical aspects of the new portable game console AyaNeo 2S. This model is an updated version of last year’s AyaNeo 2, and it will receive very significant improvements.
The list includes an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor with Radeon 780M graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5X-7500 RAM, and improved cooling. It is noted that the 7840U processor is similar to the recently announced Ryzen Z1 Extreme coming to console Asus ROG Ally. The new processor will receive 8 cores with Zen 4 architecture and an RDNA3 graphics subsystem with 12 execution modules.
As for the cooling system, it will be significantly more efficient than last year’s model, and will provide a temperature reduction of almost 12 degrees, since its area is a third larger. Other specs include a 1920 x 1200 pixel IPS display as well as a base 512GB SSD.
Pricing has yet to be announced, but it is expected to be more expensive than the AyaNeo 2, which retails for $1,099-$1,499 depending on the model. AYANEO 2S will initially receive three color options: Starry Black, Sky White and Retro Power in a limited edition. The start of sales is scheduled for June.
