The woman told about this in a discussion of a post on the Facebook group “Neighbors. Belorusskaya-Novoslobodskaya-Mayakovskaya”. The publication itself was devoted to telephone scammers and the Russian woman decided to share a new scheme of attackers.
So, according to her, at first the victim is attacked with calls allegedly from a bank call center. Subsequently, when the victim’s nerves fail, the interlocutor begins to apologize, saying that her complaint is not the first to date. Next, the attacker asks if the interlocutor wants to block such calls on his number. If the victim agrees, a code is sent to her number, ostensibly to confirm consent to the corresponding option. However, according to the Russian woman, this code is in fact a link to the confirmation of the loan, which is issued at that moment for the victim.
