Russia to build “Aerospace Innovation Valley”

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the creation of the Aerospace Innovation Valley, an innovative science and technology center (INTC), whose main areas of activity will be aerospace, biomedical and information technologies, as well as electronics and radio engineering.

The Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) and the regional government initiated the creation of such a center, which will be built in the Ryazan region. INTC resident companies will develop advanced technologies, unique materials and new types of products.


According to the forecast, the Aerospace Innovation Valley will create 2.8 thousand new jobs and by 2031 will increase tax revenues to the budget of the Ryazan region by 5.6 billion rubles.

More than 30 companies have already expressed their desire to take part in the work of the INTC, these companies are working on more than 60 innovative projects. In particular, the United Aircraft Corporation, Almaz-Antey Aerospace Defense Corporation, Roskosmos and Tactical Missiles Corporation JSC expressed their interest.
