Russia predicted a collapse and shortage of beer in 2022

As a result, Russians may face a shortage of the drink, as well as its rise in price and supply disruptions to bars. This is not least due to the fact that the timing of the introduction of beer labeling, set by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, is unrealistic, said a representative of the Association of Beer Producers (APP), which unites AB InBev Efes, Baltika and Heineken.

The APP also clarified that to date it has not been possible to resolve the issue of the coexistence of two systems at once – the Unified State Automated Information System (EGAIS) and marking. At the same time, the regulator had previously promised that only one of them would exist.

Recall that from December 1, another labeling came into force in Russia – milk and mineral water.
