Russia launched a service for remote control of a robot dog without buying it

The project was taken up by scientists from St. Petersburg University ITMO together with the American startup MerkleBot. The service is called the Boston Dynamics Spot SDK Education Program.

The robotic dog itself is physically located in the MerkleBot laboratory in California. However, the user of the service can remotely connect to the standard API of the robot and control it in real time. You can even upload your own code and test it.

Of course, this is not free entertainment. Spot rental hours will cost $ 82 (6,000 rubles). You can take a five-lesson course in Boston Dynamics Spot at no additional cost. The robot dog itself is worth a lot more.
