The development of such tablets was carried out by specialists of the high-tech project of the National Technological Initiative (NTI) “Avineiro”. The tablets themselves were named “Aviander”.
It is known that after suffering a coronavirus, people often face anxiety disorders. For example, generalized anxiety disorder manifests itself in the form of permanent, irrational worry about routine things.
During the tests, it was found that eight weeks of the use of the drug “Aviander” reduces the overall score on the Hamilton anxiety scale by more than half.
“We have developed an innovative new generation molecule (Aviander drug), which with high selectivity acts on a number of adrenergic receptors and a group of serotonin receptors and provides anxiolytic, antidepressant and procognitive effects ”, – shared the medical director of the Avineiro project Elena Yakubova.
