Russia began testing an apparatus for rescuing sailors from damaged submarines

The product is being tested by the rescue vessel Mikhail Rudnitsky as a standard carrier and is being carried out in the Kola Bay of the Barents Sea. The tests will continue in 2022. At the final stage of testing, the device will dive to a depth of more than 700 meters, which is its working depth.

It is noted that a new navigation complex has been installed on the repaired AS-36, which allows you to accurately determine the location of the device, both on the sea surface and under water, as well as radio equipment and automation systems.
