Rumor: Apple will release its first power supply with two USB ports

Looks like the collection of Apple accessories will soon be replenished. The network has information about the upcoming power supply for branded smartphones with two important differences from the models already presented. In addition to increased power, it will acquire the ability to simultaneously charge two gadgets at once.

A document describing the original accessory was published on the brand’s website in the technical support section. The company later deleted it, but the text has already managed to disperse on the Internet. According to information published by the 9to5Mac portal, we are talking about a power supply with two connectors and a maximum output power of 35 W (20 V / 1.75 A).

“Use the Apple 35W Dual USB-C Power Adapter and a USB-C cable (not included) to charge your device. Connect the USB-C cable to any port on the power adapter, extend the electrical prongs (if needed), then plug the power adapter securely into a power outlet. Make sure the outlet is easily accessible to unplug. Connect the other end of the cable to your device,” the document says.

It is assumed that the power supply with support for Power Delivery technology will allow you to charge two brand gadgets at once – for example, the iPhone 13 Pro Max (27W fast charging) and the Apple Watch. At the same time, the gallium nitride components used by many brands are not mentioned in the source. The possible date of the announcement and the price of the new accessory are still unknown.
