Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Unveiled: Royal Enfield has introduced its Super Meteor 650 at the ongoing EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan, Italy. The company had already released its teaser. This will be the company’s third bike in the 650 cc segment. Let us tell you that in this segment, Royal Enfield is already selling bikes like its continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650. The special thing is that both these bikes were introduced by the company like Super Meteor 650 at EICMA 4 years ago.
Talking about the look, the Super Meteor cruiser bike has an upright riding position, proper retro design, tear-drop shaped fuel tank, fenders for the rear tyre, circular LED headlight. It gets an old-school two-piece scalloped seat with taillight, which doesn’t have any grabberels. Overall, its design is inspired by the Meteor 350. That is, by looking at the Meteor 350, you can call it a smaller version of Super Meteor. Royal Enfield badging has been given on the tank, giving it a new and cool design. Its highlight is the cast-aluminian switch cubes, a first on any Royal Enfield bike.
Engine and performance
The Super Meteor 650 is built on the same platform as the 650 Twins. But it has a new tubular steel frame, which will provide more comfortable pagination. In terms of engine and performance, it has been given the same 648 cc parallel-twin oil / air-cooled engine for power, which makes 47 bhp at 7250 rpm. It generates maximum power and peak torque of 52.3 Nm at 5650 rpm. It will get a 6-speed gearbox
When will it be launched in India?
According to reports, the Super Meteor 650 will be first launched in India. There is also speculation that the company may showcase it at the Rider Mania to be held in Goa from November 18 to 20. Talking about the launch, according to the reports, it can be launched in the month of December this year or in the month of January next year.
