Renault hikes prices of Kiger SUV and Triber, Nissan Magnite also costlier by up to Rs 30,000

While Renault India has increased the prices of its popular MPV Renault Triber and compact SUV Renault Kiger, Nissan India, on the other hand, has revised the prices of its best selling SUV Nissan Magnite. Where the price hike has been done by the French carmaker by up to Rs 48,970.

On the other hand, the Japanese brand has increased the price of its product by up to Rs 30,499. Talking about the Renault Triber, a similar increase of Rs 7,000 has been made in all its variants. Apart from this, the AMT variant of the Renault Triber RXL has been discontinued from the lineup.

The Renault Triber is now being sold at a starting price of Rs 5.76 lakh (ex-showroom) and its top-spec variant is priced at Rs 8.32 lakh (ex-showroom). The car is being sold in five variants including RXE, RXL, RXT, RXZ and RXZ dual-tone.

On the other hand, talking about Renault Kiger, the company has increased the price of this car by up to Rs 48,970 depending on the variants. Three variants including the RXL Easy-R, RXT Dualtone and RXT Dualtone Easy-R have been dropped from the list of this subcompact SUV lineup.

It is worth noting that the RXT (O) turbocharged CVT variant of the Renault Kiger has seen the highest price hike. At the same time, there has been a low price increase in its RXL variant, which is Rs 970. The Renault Kiger is being sold in two engines 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.0-litre turbo petrol.

Apart from this, talking about Nissan India’s best selling subcompact SUV Nissan Magnite, the company has increased the price of its XL Turbo CVT variant by up to Rs 30,499. The top-spec XV Premium Turbo CVT variant has seen the lowest price hike of Rs 1,999.

After this new price revision, the Nissan Magnite will be sold at a starting price of Rs 5.76 lakh (ex-showroom) and the top-spec model will be priced at Rs 10.00 lakh (ex-showroom). The company is selling the Nissan Magnite in XE, XL, XV Executive, XV and XV Premium variants.
