The skeleton is well ossified and has reached a large size in comparison with the space inside the egg, which indicates a late stage of embryo formation. The specimen belongs to a dinosaur from the oviraptorid family. Compared to other dinosaurs of the time, they were small, often not more than two meters in length.
Dinosaur skeletons are not often preserved in egg fossils, although scientists have already found oviraptorid eggs. However, scientists were attracted by this particular sample, or rather by its posture, which turned out to be bird-like.
