Platform Ticket Price: A lot has changed in the country since the start of the Corona pandemic. In the year 2020, this happened for the first time that the work of railways was completely stopped. After this the process of unlocking slowly started. To control the crowd at the railway station, the railways increased the platform ticket fee by 3 times. The price of platform ticket of Rs 10 was reduced to Rs 30. But, now the Ahmedabad Division of Indian Railways has decided that the platform ticket will be charged at Rs 10 as before. In some railway stations of the country, the platform ticket fee was also increased to Rs 50.
From this date the rule came into force
Let us tell you that the DRM of Ahmedabad has implemented this rule from 7 April. Issuing a notice in this matter, it has been said that in view of the increasing cases of corona, the Railways had earlier decided that from January 18, 2022, the price of platform ticket was increased from Rs 10 to Rs 30. Now that has been returned to Rs.10. Now return platform ticket at Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Palanpur, Mehsana, Bhuj, Maninagar and Sabarmati stations has been reduced to Rs.10.
Central Railway also reduced the fee
Let us tell you that last year the Central Railway also reduced the price of platform tickets. It was reduced from Rs 50 to Rs 10. With this, in the railway stations of LTT, Thane, Kalyan, CSMT, Dadar and Panvel, people now have to pay only Rs 10 for platform tickets.
