Redmi’s first 12-bit display with up to 68.7 billion colors. Redmi K50 Extreme Edition Announced

Before the presentation of the flagship smartphone Redmi K50 Extreme Edition, Redmi announced its special version, which was created jointly with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team.

Recall that in February this year, when the gaming version of the K50 was released, Redmi also released a model in collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG F1 team – Redmi K50 Champion Edition. The official posters show that the new smartphone will receive the appropriate logos and color scheme.

Redmi K50 Extreme Edition will receive a flagship 1.5K flat screen with a density of 446 pixels per inch. This is Redmi’s first 12-bit screen with up to 68.7 billion colors, DC Dimming support and eye protection.

The smartphone will be built on the basis of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 single-chip system. The rear camera design of the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition is similar to the Xiaomi Mi 12 series.

The presentation of the novelty will take place today.
