The company has announced the launch of four new products, including the Redmi Pad SE, and has also released the official teaser for this tablet. Xiaomi India has announced the launch of the Redmi Pad SE on April 23rd, unveiling a teaser through its social media channels. Additionally, a microsite for the tablet has been made live on the Xiaomi website. From the poster, it’s evident that the Indian variant will mirror the global variant, featuring three color options: green, gray, and lavender. These colors are consistent with those available for the global variant, and the design remains unchanged. The tablet boasts an 11-inch LCD panel display with a resolution of 1,900 x 1,200 pixels, along with a 90Hz refresh rate and TÜV Rhineland low blue light certification.
The Redmi Pad SE launching in India will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, a detail that has been confirmed. The device is touted to offer 14 hours of video playback time, along with 219 hours of music playback time and a standby time of 43 days. It will also include features like split-screen and floating windows for multitasking.
While the price of the Indian variant of the Redmi Pad SE has not yet been disclosed, the European model is priced starting at 199 Euros (approximately Rs 18,000) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM + 128GB model is priced at 299 Euros (approximately Rs 20,800), while the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant comes in at 249 Euros (approximately Rs 22,600).
