Xiaomi is reportedly working on a new tablet called the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G. Recently, a live photo of the tablet was also seen. Now, the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G tablet with model number 24076RP19I has been spotted on BIS certification, suggesting its imminent launch.
The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G also appeared in the IMEI database under the same model number. While not much information has been provided on the BIS certification, other certifications have revealed a lot. According to the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) certification, the tablet will run on Xiaomi’s Hyper OS 1.0. It will support dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 4G LTE. It will also include an FM receiver. The device was also listed on Singapore’s IMDA database, suggesting that the global launch is near.
The name of the tablet reveals that it will have an 8.7-inch display. The Redmi Pad SE was launched in China in September 2023 and in India in April 2024 and features an 11-inch display. Considering this, it seems that this model could be a more affordable version of the Redmi Pad SE. Other specifications and the official release date of the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G are yet to be announced.
