Chinese smartphone maker Redmi may soon launch the K70 Ultra. The Redmi K70 series was introduced in China last year, and this smartphone could be added to the lineup. The series currently includes the Redmi K70, Redmi K70E, and Redmi K70 Pro.
Leaked information regarding the specifications of the Redmi K70 Ultra has surfaced. Tipster Digital Chat Station spotted this smartphone with the model number 2407FRK8EC on the certification website 3C, as mentioned in a post on China’s messaging platform Weibo. It may be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC as its processor and feature a 5,500 mAh battery with 120 W wired fast charging, surpassing the battery capacity of the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro, which pack a 5,000 mAh battery.
Earlier reports suggested that the Redmi K70 Ultra may boast an 8T LTPO display with 1.5K resolution, along with 24 GB LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage. This smartphone could potentially be released in the international market as the Xiaomi 14T Pro. Last September, the Redmi K60 Ultra was introduced in the international market as the Xiaomi 13T Pro.
Towards the end of last month, Redmi launched the Note 13 Pro+ 5G World Champions Edition in India, in collaboration with the Argentine Football Association (AFA). This smartphone features a dual-tone design on the back panel with blue and white stripes and comes with AFA branding accessories in the box. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G World Champions Edition is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC and includes a 5,000 mAh battery with 120 W fast charging support. The variant with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage is priced at Rs 37,999, and it went on sale starting May 15 in retail stores such as Amazon, Flipkart, Mi.com, and Xiaomi. Other specifications of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G World Champions Edition remain the same as the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. This smartphone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution (1,220 x 2,712 pixels) and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
