In addition to smartphones and a laptop, Redmi today introduced a new TV. The key feature of the Redmi Max 100 is a record-breaking large screen, while the model is relatively inexpensive by the standards of such solutions.
As its name suggests, the TV is equipped with a 100-inch display. Its 4K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, occupies over 98% of the front bezel, with minimal bezels. The manufacturer claims IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision Panorama certification, 700 nits peak brightness, and 94% DCI-P3 gamut coverage.
Other features of the model include high color accuracy (1 billion shades), support for MEMC and AMD FreeSync technologies, HDR10 + standard, and an ambient light sensor for intelligent brightness control. The TV speaker system is represented by two speakers with a total power of 30 W (Dolby Atmos, Dolby Audio, and DTS-HD).
Redmi Max 100 is based on a quad-core processor (Cortex-A73) with ARM Mali-G52 MC1 graphics, supported by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The set of model interfaces includes an HDMI 2.1 port, a pair of HDMI 2.0, two USB Type-A, AV-“tulips”, Ethernet, S / PDIF, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 modules.
The novelty is running MIUI TV firmware with support for enterprise functions and a proprietary smart home ecosystem. The price of Redmi Max 100 in China is $3149.
