Redmi K50i: Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi K60 series of smartphones soon. Now ahead of the launch, the company has slashed the price of its mid-range gaming smartphone – Redmi K50i in India. Launched in July this year, Xiaomi has cut the price of both the variants of the Redmi K50i smartphone. The new price of the smartphone is visible on the company’s official online store.
Redmi K50i new price and offers
Xiaomi launched the Redmi K50i in two variants – 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, priced at Rs 25,999 and Rs 28,999. The smartphone has now received a price cut of Rs 2000 and customers can now buy the 6GB version for Rs 23,999 and the 8GB version for Rs 26,999. Buyers can buy the Redmi K50i in Phantom Blue, Quick Silver, and Stealth Black color options.
Along with this, Xiaomi is also giving some offers to the customers who wish to buy Redmi K50i. Customers can avail 10% instant discount on IndusInd Bank credit cards. An instant discount of Rs 1,500 is also available on ICICI Bank’s credit card. The company is also offering an exchange offer of up to Rs 16,500 on the Redmi K50i.
Redmi K50i Specifications
Redmi K50i features a 6.6-inch FullHD+ display with 1080×2460 pixel resolution. The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and comes with Dolby Vision support. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 has been coated on top of the display.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The mid-range smartphone comes in two storage options – 128GB and 256GB.
The Redmi K50i runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 13. The 5G smartphone comes with an IP53 rating which makes it water resistant. The Redmi K50i comes equipped with an IR sensor and stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos.
The smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup that houses a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. The rear camera is also capable of recording 4k videos. Selfie lovers will get a 16MP front shooter.
Redmi K50i packs a 5080mAh battery that comes with 67W fast charging support. The company claims that the smartphone can be charged up to 50 percent in 15 minutes and up to 100 percent in 46 minutes. The Chinese smartphone maker is providing a charger in the box which also has 27W PD support.
