The realme 12 series of smartphones has been replenished with a new representative, which is the realme 12+ 5G model. The device has a bright AMOLED screen, a Dimensity chip, a Sony sensor as part of the main camera, and at the same time costs just over $300.
The new product has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of up to 2000 nits. The performance of the smartphone is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, RAM capacity is 12 GB, storage capacity is 256 GB.
The manufacturer chose a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 with optical image stabilization as the main camera sensor. It is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module, as well as a 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens. The smartphone display has a front camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels.
In addition, the new product has a 5000 mAh battery with support for 67-watt fast charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner, as well as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC modules. The body of the gadget is protected from dust and water according to the IP54 standard.
The price of realme 12+ 5G, available in beige and green colors, is $315. The smartphone is currently being sold in Malaysia; the company has not yet announced its availability in other regions.
