Chinese smartphone company Realme is preparing to launch a new smartphone this month. Realme 10T 5G will be added to the Realme 10 series. Realme 10T, Realme 10 5G, Realme 10s, Realme 10 Pro, Realme 10 Pro Coca Cola Edition and Realme 10 Pro+ are included in this series.
The company’s Thailand Facebook page hints at a March 21 launch of the Realme 10T 5G. Along with this, information about its design and specifications has also been given. It will have MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G SoC and will get up to 256 GB of internal storage. The refresh rate of its display will be 90 Hz. Although, company It hasn’t said whether it will be an AMOLED or LCD panel. It will be made available in two colours. The triple rear camera setup of this smartphone has a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It has a fingerprint scanner on the side.
Realme may soon launch flip and foldable smartphones. Foldable smartphones are gaining popularity in the premium smartphone category. Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, Tecno, and Xiaomi are already present in this segment. The company’s Vice President Madhav Sheth recently took to Twitter to ask people about their preferences for the company’s foldable smartphone. He had asked to choose the option of flip or foldable smartphone as the company’s next product. He indicated that the company is working on one or both of these.
Before this, Realme has not launched any foldable phone. Realme has not revealed any specifications of its foldable smartphone. Its subsidiary firm OnePlus recently shared the teaser of its foldable smartphone, which could be launched in the third quarter of this year. Samsung has the first place in the market of foldable smartphones. The South Korean company recently launched Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in this segment. Due to the improvement in foldable display technology and increasing demand for foldable smartphones, some other smartphone companies are also planning to launch smartphones in this segment.
