In the new major Telegram update, reactions to messages, automatic message translation, QR codes with a unique design, hidden text and other innovations have become available.
Telegram was the first to launch animated and interactive emojis, and now some of these emoji can be used in the form of reactions to messages. It is enough to double-click on the message to automatically put your finger up; to select other reactions, you need to click on the message once. You can change emoji for quick reactions in Settings. In private chats, reactions are always on. Group and channel admins can enable reactions in the chat profile: Edit> Reactions.
Now you can select a portion of the text and apply Hidden formatting. Hidden text is not shown in messages or in the chat list and notifications. This will hide spoilers in new movies.
In addition, now you can translate any message into your language right in the application. The ability to translate the text of messages can be turned on in the Settings> Language section. To translate a message, tap on it (for iOS: hold your finger) and select Translate from the menu that appears.
You can generate a QR code to go to the profile of any user who has a public link. You can also create QR codes for groups, channels and bots. You can create a QR code for your own public link in Settings.
There are new interactive versions for various emojis.
