There is going to be a bank holiday in many states on Ram Navami. These states are Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Chandigarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Himachal Pradesh.

- 15 April 2024: Banks will remain closed in Guwahati and Shimla zones due to Himachal Day.
- 17 April 2024: Due to Shri Ram Navami, there will be a bank holiday in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla, Mumbai and Nagpur.
- 20 April 2024: There will be a bank holiday in Agartala due to Garia Puja.
- 21 April 2024: There will be a weekly holiday for banks due to Sunday.
- 27 April 2024: There will be a bank holiday due to the fourth Saturday.
- 28 April 2024: There will be a weekly holiday for banks due to Sunday.
