Hyderabad-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Pure EV (Pure EV) on Monday launched its new electric motorcycle EcoDryft. It is a commuter electric bike, designed for everyday commuting. The ex-showroom price of PURE EV EcoDryft electric motorcycle in Delhi has been fixed at Rs 99,999. The subsidy of the state government is also included in this price.

Talking about the look and design of the PURE EV EcoDryft, it looks like a basic commuter bike. This bike has angular headlamps, five spoke alloy wheels, single piece seat, fuel tank of attractive design in which storage is available. The company has introduced this bike with four color options – Black, Grey, Blue and Red.
The PURE EV EcoDryft electric motorcycle is powered by a 3.0 kWh capacity lithium-ion battery pack. This battery pack is AIS 156 certified. The company has not disclosed the details related to the power of the battery and motor given in the bike. Information about these details is expected to be shared at the time of launching.
Driving Range & Speed
Although the company has made big claims about the range and top speed of the EcoDryft. According to the company, this electric bike can cover a distance of 135 km once it is fully charged. Along with this, its top speed is 75 kmph.
The company has given disc brake in front wheel and drum brake in rear wheel in EcoDryft with which combi braking system is available. In the suspension system, it gets telescopic fork suspension at the front and spring based shock absorber suspension at the rear.

Upon launch, the PURE EV EcoDryft will compete with the likes of the Revolt RV400, Tork Kratos, Oben Rorr and the recently introduced Matter electric bike in the Indian market.
