In the Tula region, they began to produce a new Chinese car for the Russian market. Haval launched the assembly of the Dargo crossover at its plant in a full cycle, including welding and body painting.
This was reported by the publication “Kommersant”. It is noted that at the moment the prices and the exact timing of the start of sales by the manufacturer have not been announced. As the company previously reported, the release in Russia will take place before the end of 2022.
Haval positions Dargo as a “bright and brutal” car. The Haval Dargo crossover is based on the LEMON platform, familiar to motorists from the Haval Jolion model.
The new crossover will be offered in a version with a 2-liter petrol turbo engine with 192 hp. in combination with a 7-speed robotic gearbox with front or all-wheel drive. Also among the features are adaptive cruise control and a surround view system, adaptation to Russian conditions – electric heating of the entire surface of the windshield, heated steering wheel, rear and front seats, as well as an enlarged washer reservoir.
