Hyundai i20, the premium hatchback of Hyundai Motor India, has secured the second position in this list. Last month, the company has sold 6,350 units of this car, while in January last year, the company sold 8,505 units of it. Its sales have declined by 25.3 percent this year.
3. Tata Altroz
Tata Altroz, the premium hatchback of indigenous car maker Tata Motors, has made it to the top 3. The company has sold a total of 4,525 units of this car last month, while in January last year, the company sold 7,378 units of it. Its sales have declined by 38.6 percent this year.

4. Toyota Glanza
The fourth place in the list has been secured by Toyota Glanza, the rebadged version of Maruti Baleno. In January 2022, Toyota Kirloskar has sold 1,347 units of this car, while in January last year, the company sold 2,556 units of it. Its sales have fallen by 47.3 percent this year.
5. Volkswagen Polo
Czech carmaker Volkswagen’s Polo has managed to secure fifth place in the top-5 list. Last month, the company sold a total of 891 units, while last year the company sold 1,747 units. In January 2022, the sale of this car has decreased by 48.9 percent.
6. Honda Jazz
In this list, the premium hatchback Honda Jazz of Japanese carmaker Honda Cars has secured the last position. The company has sold 588 units of this car last month, compared to 953 units sold in January last year. Its sales have declined by 38.3 percent this January.
Let us tell you that recently the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) has released the vehicle registration data for January 2022 today. Talking about the registration of passenger vehicles, last month companies have registered a total of 2,58,329 units of passenger vehicles.
This registration is 10.12 percent less than the registration done in January last year. According to the data, in January 2021, a total of 2,87,424 units of vehicles of all the companies were registered. Whereas in January 2020, a total of 2,94,955 units of vehicles were registered.
