New Delhi: There is good news for the luxury car lovers. BMW has started pre-booking for its new car. BMW India (BMW India) 2022 BMW X4 Black Shadow Edition (BMW X4 Black Shadow Edition) for an initial token amount of Rs 50,000. To be sold with a limited number, the 2022 BMW X4 Black Shadow Edition is slated to be launched in March 2022 and deliveries will be done on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis. The 2022 BMW X4 Black Shadow Edition is based on the 2019 BMW X4, priced at Rs 67.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India), but the new car could get refreshed technical features as well as cosmetic updates on both exterior and interior .
The BMW X4 comes with a very distinctive coupe-like roofline and is inspired by the new generation X3. As with the 2022 model, the BMW X4 will get mild design changes compared to the Metallic Black Sapphire paint scheme. These include a sporty looking kidney grille, adjustable LED headlights with matrix function, full LED rear lights, a new rear apron and reflectors are now placed vertically and down the bumper. It comes with Y-patterned 19-inch alloy wheels in jet matte black with BMW ‘Floating Hub Cap’.
On the interiors, the 2022 BMW X4 Black Edition will get Senstech synthetic leather upholstery in Oyster/Black and Black colours. It will offer a 10.25-inch free-standing, touchscreen infotainment system, a touch controller with gear lever, buttons for the start/stop system, an electric parking brake, hill descent control, and more. The BMW Controller 5.1-inch instrument cluster sits inside a black panel, while the BMW Live Cockpit Plus can also be showcased on the heads-up display. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay come as standard. The 2022 X4 also gets automatic climate control with 3-zone control, electroplated trim elements on the air vents and ambient lighting.
BMW x4 engine
The 2019 BMW X4 is available in both petrol and diesel variants in India. The 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine churns out 248 Bhp and peak torque of 350 Nm @ 1,450 -4,800 rpm. This variant catches the speed of 0-100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds. The 3.0-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine churns out 261 bhp and 620 Nm @ 2,000 – 2,500 rpm, which can accelerate from 0 -100 kmph in just 6 seconds. All engine versions are mated to an 8-speed Steptronic automatic unit unit and BMW xDrive as standard.
