Delhi: Porsche’s car is famous for its looks, while Porsche’s sports car has its own charm all over the world. Porsche has introduced India’s first Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 at its ‘Festivals Of Dreams’ event held in Mumbai. This is the first 718 GT4 RS to be sold in India since its launch in May 2022. While the price of this sports car starts from Rs. 2.53 crores ex-showroom and goes up to Rs. 3.2 crores. The sports car is a track variant of the Porsche 718 GT4 and weighs 35 kg lighter than the standard version. The RS gets a top speed of 315 kmph thanks to its 4-litre flat-six naturally aspirated engine generating 493 hp and 450 Nm of torque.
78 hp and 20 Nm of torque
Compared to the standard model Cayman, the GT4 RS gets a much more aggressive look with a new bumper with bigger air intakes and a front split. The hood gets air vents and then at the rear the sports car gets a large spoiler with 3 manual adjustments. The front fenders of the GT4 RS are also wider and more aggressively designed. The intake vents on the rear fender are also bigger in the car. The vehicle weighs a total of 1,415 kg. This makes the RS variant more powerful than the standard GT4 by 78 hp and 20 Nm of torque.

Showcase for sports car general public on 26 January
In terms of upgrades compared to the standard model, the 718 GT4 RS gets forged aluminum wheels, 408 mm disc at the front and 380 mm disc at the rear. The suspension and chassis have also been reworked for the RS and can be lowered by 30mm for better track performance. The most important thing in this is that on January 26 (Republic Day 2023), the sports car will also be showcased for the general public, they can also see it free of cost.
