In December, Xiaomi will present the flagship smartphone Xiaomi 12 on the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 platform, and in January the next smartphone will be released on the same SoC. This will be the Poco F4 Pro. He’s the Redmi K50 Pro. He is Xiaomi 12X Pro.
According to the source, Xiaomi began work on the MIUI assembly for the Redmi K50 Pro on August 21, which means that by this date the smartphone prototype was almost ready. The Redmi K50 Pro is exclusively for the home market. In India, the device will be sold under the designation Xiaomi 12X Pro, and in the global market (and in Russia), the smartphone will be presented under the name Poco F4 Pro. All three options have already appeared in the IMEI database. The catalog number of the Chinese version is 22011211C, the Indian one is 22011211I, and the global one is 22011211G. The fact that the devices are already certified gives reason to think that the premiere of Redmi K50 Pro and its clones will take place in January.
Something is already known about the characteristics. The budget flagship Xiaomi (after all, it will be cheaper than the Xiaomi 12) will receive a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a frame rate of 120 Hz and a built-in fingerprint scanner, a liquid cooling system (based on a vapor chamber), a 5G Snapdragon X65 modem, a triple camera with main sensor OmniVision OV64B with a resolution of 64 megapixels. There will be no periscope module in the camera. There probably won’t even be a telephoto lens. The OS will be Android 12 with MIUI 13 interface.
But all this will be in January, and in December Xiaomi will present compact flagship Xiaomi 12X (presumably December 1) powered by Snapdragon 870 and Xiaomi 12 (probably December 12). MIUI 13 will debut at the same time as Xiaomi 12.
