At MWC 2022, POCO unveiled two of its latest smartphones, the X4 Pro 5G and M4 Pro. The X4 Pro 5G features a 108MP camera, a Snapdragon processor and 67W fast charging, while the M4 Pro is the first M-series smartphone to feature an AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
POCO X4 Pro 5G
POCO X4 Pro 5G has a large 6.67-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz and a sampling rate of 360Hz. In addition, the screen has DCI-P3 wide color gamut and Eye Care Certification.
The smartphone is based on the eight-core Snapdragon 695 5G (6nm) processor and is equipped with 8 GB of RAM, expandable up to 12 GB through ROM. The main camera is new at 108 MP (1 / 1.52 inches). There is also an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. According to the brand, for the first time in a POCO smartphone, 9-in-1 binning technology is present: the sensor captures more light, increasing image clarity.
POCO X4 Pro 5G received a 5000 mAh battery with support for fast charging with a power of 67 W: the smartphone charges up to 70% in just 22 minutes, and reaches 100% in 41 minutes. In addition, the novelty has dual stereo speakers, a powerful linear Z-axis vibration motor and supports the updated MIUI 13.
The cost of POCO X4 Pro 5G in Russia will be 33,990 rubles for the 6 GB + 128 GB version and 36,990 for 8 GB + 256 GB. The smartphone will be available for purchase from March 10 in three body colors: laser black, laser blue and yellow POCO.
POCO M4 Pro
The M4 Pro is the first M-series smartphone to receive a 6.43-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with a resolution of 2400×1800 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. DCI-P3 wide color gamut is also supported, with display brightness up to 1000 nits. The novelty is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G96 processor with a frequency of 2.05 GHz, ARM Mali-G57 MC2 graphics, 8 GB of RAM, expandable up to 12 GB through ROM, and LiquidCool 1.0 Plus technology, which, according to the manufacturer, maintains a moderate temperature regardless from load. The camera of the novelty is represented by three modules: the main one at 64 megapixels, the ultra-wide-angle one at 8 megapixels and the macro module at 2 megapixels.
The POCO M4 Pro weighs 179.5g and has a body thickness of 8.09mm, making it the lightest POCO smartphone to date. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh, there is support for fast charging with a power of 33 W.
The cost of POCO M4 Pro in Russia: 24,990 rubles for the 6 GB + 128 GB version and 27,990 for 8 GB + 256 GB. The smartphone will be available for purchase from March 2 in three colors: charged black, cool blue and yellow POCO.
