All-electric versions of the Peugeot 308 hatchback and Peugeot 308 SW wagon have been unveiled and will be available in mid-2023.
Both models are built on a 400-volt system with a new-generation 54 kWh battery that is 80% nickel, 10% manganese and 10% cobalt. The power reserve will be more than 400 km. The electric Peugeot 308 and 308 SW are powered by a 156 hp electric motor. with 260 Nm of torque.
Work on the engine, battery, optimization of the front end, platform weight and tire friction have made it possible to achieve a low energy consumption rate – an average of 12.7 kWh per 100 km of run. It sets the benchmark for electric vehicles in the C segment. Especially for the Peugeot 308 and 308 SW, a new set of 18-inch wheels on aluminum rims with low tire friction has been developed.
Basic versions are equipped with a three-phase charger with a nominal power of 11 kW, but 100 kW charging is also supported, which allows you to recharge the battery from 20 to 80% in less than 25 minutes.
The electric Peugeot 308 and 308 SW look exactly like the ICE models. They get a Peugeot i-Cockpit interior with a distinctive small heated wheel steering wheel, a 3D digital projection display and a 10-inch touchscreen in the center console.
Prices will be announced closer to the start of sales.
