Petrol and diesel will become expensive due to Iran-Israel war, rise in crude oil prices

In the international market on Tuesday morning, WTI Crude is trading at $ 86.05 per barrel with a rise of 0.75 percent, while Brent Crude Oil is trading at $ 90.72 with a rise of 0.69 percent. The rising prices of crude oil in the international market are likely to affect India also. There is a fear that due to increase in crude oil prices, the prices of petrol and diesel may increase in the country. What is the condition of oil in the metropolitan cities of the country?

The prices of petrol and diesel are stable in the country’s capital Delhi. Here petrol is stable at Rs 94.72 per liter and diesel at Rs 87.62 per liter. Whereas, in Mumbai petrol is being sold at Rs 104.21 per liter and diesel at Rs 92.15 and in Kolkata petrol is being sold at Rs 103.94 and diesel at Rs 90.76. The price of petrol and diesel in Chennai has been stable for the last six days. Here petrol has become Rs 100.75 a liter and diesel has become Rs 92.34 a litre.

Petrol and diesel prices in other cities

Petrol and diesel prices are stable today in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Here petrol is being sold at Rs 105.18 per liter and diesel at Rs 92.10 per litre. The price of petrol and diesel is stable in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Here petrol is being sold at Rs 94.64 per liter and diesel at Rs 87.75 per litre. In Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, petrol is being sold 34 paise cheaper at Rs 97.81 per litre. Whereas, here people have got relief of 35 paise in diesel prices. Here diesel is being sold at Rs 92.56 per litre.

Will the price of crude oil go to 100 dollars?

At present, oil from Gulf countries is trading above $90 per barrel. Experts believe that if the war drags on, there may be a huge rise in the prices of crude oil. There may be a rise of more than 10 percent in the price of crude oil.

This means that the price of Brent crude oil i.e. oil from Gulf countries can reach $ 100 per barrel. This means that the price of Brent crude oil may see an increase of $ 10 per barrel. On the other hand, there will be a rise in the price of American crude oil and the price may reach $95 per barrel.
