Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has released the sales figures of two wheeler, three wheeler, commercial vehicle (CV), passenger vehicle (PV) and tractor in the year 2024. According to which, in the year 2024, sales of 18,94,740 vehicles have been recorded in Gujarat and 2,61,07,679 vehicles in the entire country. This means that in the year 2024, there has been a strong increase of 9.11 percent in the sales of vehicles across the country.
According to the data released by FADA, 18,94,740 vehicles have been sold in Gujarat in the year 2024, which is 4.35 percent more than the year 2023. These vehicles include 12,73,428 two wheelers, 81,788 three wheelers, 81,442 commercial vehicles (CV), 3,57,788 passenger vehicles (PV) and 1,00,294 tractors.
Talking about the vehicles sold across the country during the year 2024, according to FADA, 21,79,386 more vehicles have been sold across the country in the year 2024 as compared to the year 2023. In the year 2024, 2,61,07,679 vehicles have been sold across the country, which is 9.11 percent more than the year 2023. Which includes 1,89,12,959 two wheelers, 12,21,909 three wheelers, 10,04,856 commercial vehicles (CV), 40,73,843 passenger vehicles (PV) and 8,94,112 tractors.
A tremendous increase has been recorded in the sales of two and three wheelers across the country during the year 2024 as compared to the year 2023. Among these, the highest increase of 10.78 percent has been recorded in the sales of two wheelers, followed by 10.49 percent increase in the sales of three wheelers.
The year 2024 was excellent in terms of vehicle sales. Talking about Gujarat, vehicle sales increased by 14.13 percent in December 2024 as compared to the year 2023. In Gujarat alone, 1,50,035 vehicles were sold during December 2024. In which maximum 22,144 tractors were sold with an increase of 158.99 percent.
