Mahindra’s latest SUV XUV 700 is getting a lot of love from the customers in the Indian market. The company had started bookings for the XUV700 on 7 October 2021 and since then this swanky SUV has received more than one lakh bookings in four months. The company started the delivery of petrol variants at the end of October 2021, while the delivery of diesel variants was started by the company in November 2021. As of January 2022, the company has delivered over 14,000 units of the XUV700.
bumper waiting period
There is a very long waiting period for all the variants of this car but the waiting period of the top-spec AX7 luxury variant has increased by 18 months. Along with the demand, the shortage of semiconductor chip is also a big reason for this.
The Mahindra XUV700 SUV gets a new black grille with tall vertical chrome slates and a new logo at the front. It gets new LED headlamps with LED DRLs, large twin C-shaped LED daytime running lights. It gets new flush-fitting door handles, integrated turn signals with electric-powered ORVMs and flared wheel arcs, which give it a rugged look. Its rear has a tailgate with stylish wraparound LED taillamps.
Mahindra is now preparing to expand its portfolio in India as well. The company has also recently teased 3 electric cars, which can be unveiled in July 2022. The company has not yet launched any electric car in the market.
