The Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV has received over 15,000 bookings since its launch. Mahindra’s first electric SUV, the XUV400 received 10,000 bookings in just 4 days.
The electric SUV was launched at an introductory price of Rs 16.99 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh (both prices ex-showroom) for the first 5,000 bookings only.
Mahindra XUV400: Battery and Performance
Mahindra will soon announce the price changes for the XUV400 electric SUV. The Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV is offered in two variants – EC and EL, powered by two engines. In this, the first 34.5 kWh battery and the second 39.4 kWh battery are available.
In which a range of 375 km and 456 km (MIDC) is available respectively on full charge. The EC variant comes with either a 3.3 kW or 7.2 kW AC charger and the top-spec EL variant gets a 7.2 kW AC charger.

The Mahindra XUV400 is powered by an electric motor, which is located on the front axle. It generates maximum power of 148 bhp and maximum torque of 310 Nm. The electric SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 8.3 seconds.
Mahindra XUV400: Features
As far as features are concerned, the XUV400 gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with AndrenoX UX, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, connected car technology and OTA update compatibility. On the exterior, the Mahindra XUV400 is equipped with projector LED headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, six airbags, ABS with EBD, a MID unit and disc brakes on all wheels.

Recently, Mahindra has auctioned the XUV400 Special Edition for Rs 1 crore 75 thousand. Mahindra Chairman Anand Mahindra handed over his fully electric SUV to the highest bidder, Karunakar Kundavaram.
