The number of Paytm Lite users has crossed 2 million. The Bank clocks over 5 lakh daily transactions for Paytm UPI Lite from the Paytm app. Users do not need a PIN for UPI Lite. Let us tell you that Paytm UPI Lite enables one-click payments, which never fail, even if the banks server is down during the transaction. Users will be able to make instant payments of up to Rs 200 through UPI Lite. In UPI Lite, you will be able to transfer Rs 2000 maximum twice in a day. In this way, users will be able to do transactions up to a total of Rs 4000.
Paytm UPI lite is a new technology that comes with 3-level bank-grade security. Payments made using UPI Lite will not be reflected in the passbook and the user’s bank statement will remain simple. The entry is done only after adding money to the UPI Lite balance.
How to setup Paytm UPI Lite?
- Open Paytm app and click on ‘UPI LITE’.
- Select the ‘Bank Account’ eligible for UPI Lite and tap on ‘Proceed’.
- On the ‘Add Money to Activate UPI LITE’ page, enter the amount to be added to UPI Lite.
- After this users can start using Paytm UPI Lite.
