The word password has become the most popular password people use in 2022 to secure their accounts. This is stated in the report of the company – password manager NordPass, which analyzed passwords in 30 countries.
According to her, the word password was used most often in Australia, the UK and India. The second most popular option was 123456, which topped the NordPass list of the world’s weakest passwords for the past two years. Such a password this year has remained the most popular in Brazil, Indonesia, Italy, Chile, Canada, Colombia, Hungary, Malaysia and a number of other countries. The “more complex” combination of numbers closes the top three – 123456789.
Guest is the most popular password in the US [англ. «гость»] is the fourth most popular code word in the world. In fifth place is the combination of consecutive letters in the English keyboard layout – qwerty. It is followed by various simple number combinations such as 12345678, 111111, 12345.
