Panasonic suspends operations in Malaysia due to flooding

Japanese corporation Panasonic has suspended the work of its plant in Malaysia due to flooding. This was reported by Reuters, citing the Nikkei publication.

The specified enterprise produces household appliances and industrial ventilation equipment. The production of vacuum cleaners and fans will resume in about a week, Nikkei said.

Panasonic isn’t the only manufacturer hit by the flood. The publication also reported that Daihatsu Motor has stopped one of its factories in Malaysia.
