How to fix your PAN card
To rectify the mistake in the date of birth or name printed in the PAN card, first you have to visit the Income Tax Department’s Tax Information Network https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html.
Here go to Application Type and click on the option Changes or Correction in existing PAN Data/Reprint of PAN Card appearing there.
Here fill whatever information is asked from you and submit it by entering the correct captcha code. After this you will have to upload Aadhar, Passport or other documents. You will then be asked to make a payment.
After making the payment, you will get bank reference number and transaction number. Save them and then click on Continue. Then you will have to fill a form, in which you will have to tell about the mistake of PAN card, which you want to rectify. Just fill all these required information and submit it. You will get your PAN card with correction in a few days.
