But, the serious matter is that along with discounts and rebates, online shoppers are also being cheated equally. A new such case of online fraud has come to light, where a customer who ordered a OnePlus 10T 5G phone worth Rs 54,999 from the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale received Exo dishwashing soap for Rs 5.
The man had ordered a OnePlus 10T 5G smartphone in the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale, but was instead given an Exo Bar dish washing soap worth Rs 5.
Dish Washing Soap in OnePlus Mobile Box:
According to Times Now, this incident happened with Ashok Bhambani, who lives in Mumbai. According to reports, Ashok ordered the new OnePlus 10T 5G mobile phone, priced at Rs 54,999, on the shopping site on the first day of Amazon India’s Great Indian Festival Sale. The OnePlus 10T 5G phone ordered by Ashok in the morning was delivered to his home in the evening on the same date. According to reports, after placing the order, Ashok kept it unopened and waited for Navratri to open the box.
The mobile phone was not in the phone box:
As the first day of Navratri approaches, Ashok Bhambani on Monday excitedly prepares to unbox his new smartphone. But, as soon as he opened the phone box, the ground shifted under Ashok’s feet. The OnePlus 10T 5G phone did not come with a mobile phone in the box. So, instead of a smartphone, it had dishwashing soap. Ashok realized that he was cheated when he found dishwashing soap worth Rs 5 in the OnePlus 10T 5G phone box. Informing about this fraud, Ashok has filed a complaint with Amazon customer service and has also raised the matter in the consumer court.
