Oppo will launch the Reno 12 series later this month, succeeding the Oppo Reno 11 lineup. The company has announced the launch date of the new Reno series in China, confirming that it will include the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro models. Additionally, Oppo has revealed the rear panel design of the new Reno series, with an official teaser expected as the launch date approaches. The Enco Air 4 Pro TWS earphones may also be launched alongside the Reno 12 series.
In a Weibo post, Oppo confirmed that the Oppo Reno 12 series will debut in China on May 23, showcasing a ‘silver’ look hinting at a silver finish for the new Reno phone. The company has also unveiled the rear panel design of the upcoming phone.
Apart from this, Oppo has not disclosed further details about the new Reno series. The company has also teased the Oppo Enco Air 4 Pro, promising up to 44 hours of battery life, though the launch date of the earbuds remains unconfirmed. Speculations suggest they may be introduced alongside the Reno 12 series.
According to reports, the Oppo Reno 12 may feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 8250 processor, while the Pro variant could come with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200+ chipset. Both handsets may sport a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup.
The Oppo Reno 12 Pro could boast a 6.7-inch 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. The phone is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel front camera and a similar megapixel count for the rear camera.
Regarding the Oppo Reno 11 5G and Oppo Reno 11 Pro 5G, they were launched in January this year. The Pro variant is priced at Rs. 39,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB variant, while the 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 29,999.
