Oppo Enco Air 2 wireless earbuds launched with 24-hour battery life, are designed like Apple AirPods

The Oppo Enco Air 2 is priced at Rs 2,499 and will be available for purchase from Flipkart and the company’s online store. The earbuds come in white and black colours.

Oppo has launched its new true wireless earbuds Enco Air 2 in India. The new Enco Air 2 is the successor to the Enco Air, which was never launched in India. With the Enco Air 2, Oppo is competing with boAt and Realme in the affordable wireless earbuds segment. However, the new Oppo earbuds fall in the budget range, so they don’t have top-end features like active noise cancellation. In such a situation, if you want to buy wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation, then you can consider Oppo Enco Air 2. The Oppo Enco Air 2 is priced at Rs 2,499 and will be available for purchase from Flipkart and the company’s online store. The earbuds come in white and black colours.

The Enco Air 2 looks similar to the 2nd generation Apple AirPods, except that the earbuds from Oppo are a bit more compact. The earbuds support the company’s Flash Connect feature, which is essentially a custom name for Fast Pair. This feature allows an eligible Android phone to automatically detect the earbuds and alert you to pair them on screen.

Specifications of Oppo Enco Air 2

Each earbud on the Oppo Enco Air 2 packs a 13.4mm dynamic driver, which according to the company, belts out bass-rich sound. These earbuds will be liked by those who like to listen to genres like EDM and Bollywood. The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.2 to establish a wireless connection with another device, such as your phone or laptop. This also means that the earbuds support low latency mode for gaming. You can use the HeyMelody app to turn it on and off. The app also lets you turn on Enco Live sound effects and install firmware updates on the earbuds.

Oppo has claimed that the Enco Air 2 can last up to 24 hours on a single charge. This includes the charge for both the earbuds and the case. The earbuds each house a 27mAh battery, while the case houses a 440mAh battery. There is a USB-C port for charging at the bottom of the charging case. You get the cable bundled in the retail box. According to the company, it takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge the Enco Air 2 earbuds, but it takes about two hours to charge both the case and the earbuds together. The new Enco Air 2 standard audio codec comes with support for AAC and SBC. This means that these earbuds will support streaming from all apps.
